TONALITY

Our research, based on harmony present in flamenco and blues music, makes the case that there are four tonalities produced by the heptatonic system: Major, Minor, Phrygian and Blues.

Each heptatonic scale can be thought of as belonging to one of these four tonalities. They can be further sub-divided using a colour-coded system of tetrachords.
